Lorentz Force
When a charged particle having charge q on moves in a region, where booth electric E and magnetic field B exist it experinces a net force called Lorentz force.
i.e. Lorentz force Fm + Fe (i)
Electric Force (Fe)- A Charged particle having charge q placed in an electric field E experiences a force given by Fe = qE. (ii)
Magnetic Force (Fm)- Magnetic Force on charge q moving with velocity v at a certain angle with magnetic field B is given by Fm =q(v ✕ B). (iii)
From (i), (ii) and (iii)
F = q [E+(v ✕ B)] .
Note- All the quantity in the force of vector except charge q remeber that, wwe are unable to type in the form of vector thank you.
